Thomas has always been interested in understanding how things work — and finding ways to make them work better.

His connection to building started early. Thomas grew up inside and around his father’s independent hardware store, surrounded by tools, materials, products and trades. It was where he first developed an appreciation for practical problem-solving and the satisfaction of doing a job properly.

That curiosity later led him to study Mechanical Engineering, which then saw him spend the next decade working as a mechanical and product engineer. The experience built a strong technical approach to problem-solving, materials, processes and detail.

Over time, Thomas was drawn back to the practical side of building and renovation — working directly with homes, materials and the people who use them. He retrained in construction and brought that engineering mindset with him.

BTOM Projects brings those experiences together. Thomas combines technical knowledge, practical building experience and a trusted team of tradespeople to solve everyday property problems and manage more involved home improvements and renovations.

The goal is simple: understand the problem, recommend the right solution, communicate clearly and do the job properly.
